11 Feb / The Tim Burton Exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA)

Museum of Modern ArtOne of our extraordinary clients, The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), in New York, NY, is holding an exhibition of the amazing, multi-talented artist, Tim Burton, through April 26, 2010.

Tim Burton has been recognized as one of the most amazing and interesting filmmakers of his time. Some of his film work includes The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice and Batman. Burton’s talent also extends from his popular movie making; he is an artist, illustrator, photographer and writer. His distinctive work is devoted to the brilliant idea of “Pop Surrealism”. He is currently finishing up a new movie (yet another!) with Johnny Depp, Alice in Wonderland, due out this year.

MoMA states, “This exhibition explores the full range of his creative work, tracing the current of his visual imagination from early childhood drawings through his mature work in film. It brings together over seven hundred examples of rarely or never-before-seen drawings, paintings, photographs, moving image works, concept art, storyboards, puppets, maquettes, costumes, and cinematic ephemera.”

If you find yourself in New York, don’t miss your chance to see this exhibition and support MoMA!
